If you’re lucky, maybe you’ve caught a glimpse of Iggy Pop cruising around town in his convertible. The retired rock legend lives in Miami and has been known to show up at some local spots like Sweat Records through the years.
But it’s a very rare sight to see him onstage in Miami.
On Tuesday, April 19, Iggy Pop will be playing at the Fillmore Miami Beach with Queens of the Stone Age’s Joshua Homme as part of the duo’s Post Pop Depression Tour. This will be Iggy’s only Florida show on the tour, and tickets go on sale this Saturday, January 30, at 10 a.m. via Livenation.com.

Iggy Pop and Joshua Homme recently collaborated on the new album Post Pop Depression, which is scheduled for release in March. Not much is known about the album, Iggy’s 17th. The recording process was kept quiet from media.
Touring alongside Homme and Iggy Pop will be a supergroup of sorts made up of fellow Stone Agers Dean Fertita and Troy Van Leeuwen as well as the Arctic Monkey’s drummer Matt Helders and guitar vet Matt Sweeney.
Reserved tickets range from $105.50 to $64.50.
