Laurent Tourondel and BLT empire business partner Jimmy Haber, have parted ways, two days short of their sixth anniversary of partnership. Haber gets BLT Steak in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, and also BLT Fish, BLT Prime and BLT Burger in New York.
Chef Tourondel will still be executive chef for 10 BLTs, and will take sole control of the name — only fair, since BLT stands for Bistro Laurent Tourondel. No offense Jimmy, but BJH doesn’t have the same ring.
BLT Steak at The Betsy Hotel won’t be affected by any of this.
