In his 2011 comedy concert, Laugh at My Pain, Kevin Hart dedicated a portion of the set to his good friend Dwyane Wade and why they can’t kick it anymore. “That’s a good friend of mine. I love Dwyane to death,” he sad in the act. “[But] here’s the thing: I can’t hang out with Dwyane no more. Dwyane tried to fuck my life up.” Remember that he’s talking about D-Wade, a man who led the Heat on a remarkable NBA championship run last season and then biked with the common folks at September’s Critical Mass ride through Miami. Just how badly can a hero of his caliber truly ruin Hart’s life? “Dwyane tried to make me buy a boat,” Hart continues. “I don’t even have a fucking house. I said, ‘Hey, man, I don’t think this a good investment. He said, ‘Stop being a bitch. You got it — ball out.’ ” Despite popularity and wealth, Hart admits he still struggles with the same financial fears he had before launching his wildly successful career. He also jokes that’s why he can’t be friendly with athletes — they make and spend far too much money. But just like his buddy Dwyane, Hart is hoping to fill the American Airlines Arena (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). His Let Me Explain tour rolls into Miami this Saturday at 8 p.m.
