Keep Miami New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $7,500 by April 26. Your support ensures Miami New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Another weekend over, another to-do list left unchecked, another paycheck blown. It’s Monday, and you’re officially broke. And possibly still hungover. Summer is hard on both the liver and the wallet.
Luckily, there are plenty of ways to occupy yourself this week that won’t cost a lot of dinero. Even in our oh-so-expensive city. Check out your options after the jump.
Monday
- Terminator 1 and 2 at Blackbird Ordinary: Everyone loves Arnold, especially when he was at his pre-Gubernatorial peak. Enjoy some ’90s flashbacking and mingling on Blackbird’s epic patio.
- Meditation and yoga in the North Miami Public Library: Relaxation and stress relief are two things every Miamian is seriously in need of. Let’s try to minimize that road rage, shall we?
Wednesday
- Yoga at Bayfront Park: It’s summer, so getting your yoga on in the outdoors is basically bikram. There will be sweating – lots of sweating, but that’s all that many more calories burned.
Friday
- Classic Rock night at Cauley Square: Some classic rock tunes will be a nice break from all that Miami-style EDM you’re used to.
