Author Neil Gaiman is famous for capturing the fandom of kids and geeky grownups alike. Coraline and Stardust have both been adapted for film, while the Sandman series has been a favorite graphic novel series among young and old alike. Now, the best-selling author is on tour promoting his first adult book in eight years, The Ocean at the End of the Lane, released June 18.
Gaiman will read selections from the book and sign copies of it at Temple Judea (5500 Granada Blvd., Coral Gables) Sunday. To attend, you must buy a voucher ($25.99 plus tax) from Books & Books. The voucher gets you the book upon release and admission to the reading, Q&A, and signing. He’ll sign only books, though, so maybe leave that Sandman figurine at home.
The reading and signing take place at 2 p.m. You can purchase vouchers at Books & Books locations or at booksandbooks.com.
