$7,500

We don’t need to read your tarot cards to know that your version of high tea includes a microwave, a chipped Marge Simpson mug, and a freshly rolled doobie. While yours sounds like something we could do with our shoes off, we’re kinda interested in trying out a traditional English high-tea experience. After all, why should Heloise and those bitches in Britain have all the fun?

Little ol’ you has the right to sit in the grand, elegant lobby of The Biltmore (1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables) and nosh on finger sandwiches and melt-in-your-mouth pastries too. You’re entitled to savor the flavors of imported teas, fresh-baked scones, and live classical guitar music. We promise it’s nothing like sitting in a dank Starbucks, sipping charcoal-flavored tea from a paper cup. This. Is. Elegance. And it costs only $17 plus tax and gratuity per person. Reservations are available Monday through Friday at 3 and 4:30 p.m., so call 305-445-8066 and ask for extension 2779 to make yours.
