So Chad Pennington is out for the season, but the Dolphin Nation shouldn’t be too concerned. Chad Henne was supposed to assume starting QB duties sooner or later — it just turned out to be sooner.
He was always the quarterback of tomorrow, and hey, if he didn’t work out, there was Pat White the quarterback for the day after tomorrow.
But just in case, the Dolphins have gone ahead and traded a draft pick for Tyler Thigpen, who until today was on the Kansas City Chiefs’ roster.
Last year, after not one but two Chiefs QBs went down for the season, Thigpen took over. Despite the Cheifs going 2-14, Thigpen still impressed some football fans, and apparently some are thinking he might give Henne a run for the starting position.
He has also apparently dated an Olsen twin humped a skeleton.
