The Delano isn’t keeping its food and beverage relaunch on the down-low, despite the fact its signature eatery got an overhaul barely a year ago. They’ll close Blue Door Fish — yes, the very place that won our Best Seafood on the Beach award this year — following Art Basel and replace it with an Italian-American concept called Bianca. Brian Massie, who hails from the Light Group in Las Vegas, is the company’s corporate executive chef. (Here’s a little bio for you curious types.) Because he apprenticed with Lidia Bastianich and worked as a cook under Charlie Palmer, we trust he knows his way around a kitchen.

By the way, the Florida Room will also cease to exist by the end of December. Both venues are expected to open just a few days prior to New Year’s Eve.
