Oh Bloody Hell
Having recently returned from a sting in Europe — where Blitzkid promoted its newest full-length release, Five Cellars Below, as well as the reissue of its classic first album, Terrifying Tales — the group will headline a show tonight at Churchill’s Pub (5501 NE Second Ave., Miami). Get ready for some serious heebie-jeebies as the bandmates play their unique style of pop-punk, with lyrics about eating humans (“Cannibal Flesh Riot”), mass murder (“Slaughter at the Sock Hop”), and hiding dead bodies (“The Trunk”). Misfits/Samhain fanatics, take note: This creepy trio from Bluefield, Virginia, has been at the forefront of the Horror-rock crusade since 1997.
