Keep Miami New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $7,500 by April 26. Your support ensures Miami New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Drink and dine this Saturday, April 10 at the 7th Miccosukee Tribe of Indians Coral Gables Wine & Food Festival. For $50 you can sample foods from 30 restaurants and drink the grape from 20-plus wineries. Grey Goose vodka and Martini vermouth — sponsors of the event — will also be serving cocktails at their respective lounges.
Participating restaurants are mostly Gables eateries, from Morton’s Steakhouse to Pardo’s Chicken to the Holiday Inn across from the University of Miami. No, we probably won’t be running to the booth for the latter. We’d rather taste the offerings of Talavera and Ortanique.
Tickets are still available for the event, which benefits The American Lung Association and is expected to draw 1,500 people. The festival takes place on Giralda Avenue between Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Galiano Street.
