$10,000

We have blogged about Charlie Pickett before.  You’ve seen the videos and heard the rave reviews.  Now is your chance to see the guy in action.  He has that certain something, that special sauce that you cannot, no matter how hard you try, generate by practice, wishing, or standing on your head and gargling peanut butter.  It’s that thing that makes people like Morrisey or John Lennon so much larger than life.  Yeah, a lot of people write great songs, but when someone gets on stage, they either have it or they don’t.  This guy has it.  His blend of roots, punk, blues, swagger and South Florida slime seep through his P-90s in superstar fashion.  If you haven’t seen him in action, this is as good a time as any.  Churchill’s owner Dave Daniels put this lineup together for your enjoyment Saturday, the 28th.  Don’t sleep.  And tell Charlie to play “Smokestack Lightning.”
