This week marks Caviar‘s first anniversary since being acquired by Square, and to celebrate, the delivery service is waiving the pesky $1.99 delivery fee on all local deals. Anyone who places an order online or through its app can receive free delivery from their favorite nearby restaurants through Friday.

Since coming to Miami, Caviar has partnered with 30 popular spots, including American Social, Biscayne Tavern, and Sparky’s Roadside BBQ, with more on the way in the coming weeks. Recently, the service added Ironside Pizza and Mignonette, but its latest coup is the addition of DB Bistro Moderne, which will start delivering as of today.

Doraku in Brickell was one of the first Miami eateries to partner with Caviar about three months ago, when the food delivery service made its way to the Magic City. “We had been shopping around for delivery services for a while until we found Caviar,” says Suzy Vera, Doraku’s general manager. “Caviar is the most seamless delivery app we found. It was just the best alternative for us.”

Vera explains she was hesitant about adding a delivery option, but Caviar has worked for her restaurant. “My main concern was customer satisfaction and food quality, but it’s actually turned out really well. We’ve had no customer complaints since joining Caviar.”

Doraku has seen an almost 15 percent increase in weekly sales from delivery alone since partnering with Caviar, according to Vera. “We’ve been very affected by all the construction in Brickell. It’s really killed a lot of foot traffic for us and made parking tough. This has definitely helped us with reaching our customers who wouldn’t otherwise be in the area.”
