The ruckus is coming to Miami. If you don’t know Leon Black from Noel White, your enthusiasm might be curbed, but JB Smoove can help. It’s easy to pigeonhole this comedian in his popular role as the Hurricane Edna refugee on Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. Yet Smoove has quite the resumé as a writer, actor, and stand-up comic.
Smoove’s rapid-fire delivery and frequent abrasiveness, honed during ten years of performing, have been featured on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, Everybody Hates Chris, Mr. Deeds, and Pootie Tang. And his ability to entertain audiences, regardless of skin color, scored him a gig writing for Saturday Night Live.
