If you’re into la dolce vita, you might want to invest in that red Vespa you’ve always wanted, because you’ll have a primo parking spot when Bocce Bar opens in midtown Miami.
Samba Brands Management will open Bocce Bar, in the former Sustain space, sometime in late 2013.

Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill‘s executive chef, Timon Balloo, will helm the kitchen at the new restaurant, which will offer an “eclectic small-plate sharing menu” featuring crudos, house-made pastas, and freshly baked breads. Fans of Sugarcane need not worry — the talented toque will remain at the restaurant in addition to taking on the additional responsibilities at Bocce Bar.
Samba Brands’ head of cocktail and spirit development, Richard Woods, will design the beverage program, which will reinvent classic Italian favorites such as the Negroni.
And there will be a real bocce court in the restaurant. No word yet on whether Fiats and Ferraris will receive complimentary parking or if that perk is reserved only for Vespas.
This will be the fourth restaurant in Miami for Samba Brands. After seeing success with its two SushiSamba locations and Sugarcane, the company decided to launch its Italian concept here in South Florida.
