$7,500

“Free is a good price for beer; there is really nothing fancy about it,” quips Herb Garfinkle, owner of Sunset Billiards. Every Wednesday night starting at 7:00, patrons can enjoy free ice cold domestic drafts while shooting pool on the Brunswick Gold Crown Tournament tables. Now you can see if you really do play better when you’re drunk.

There is no limit to the free-flowing brewskis, unless you’ve obviously had too much. “People get pissed when we cut them off. Last week we threw a whole table out because they were underage,” says Garfinkle. Smoking is permitted inside, and the filter/circulation system in the ceiling sucks up all the smoke so that you can’t even smell it. The place gets packed, but there is always a table. Chalk up your stick and grab another beer, or catch a game in the lounge area in front of the 63-inch TV.
