Nothing to do this Sunday?
Need something constructive for the kids? Jump in the car on a road trip south, and fill up on seasonal organic produce, heirloom tomato plants, dried fruit and raw honey.
Bee Heaven Farms is turning this Sunday December, 19th into “Farm Day.” Between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., kids can discover, pick and eat a bounty of local fruit and produce, build their own scarecrows, and jump on hay rides. In the meantime, adults can get their musical fill with acts like Grant Livingston and sate their bellies with some of Dim Ssam a Gogo pan-Asian nom-noms.
A $5 donation will get you in. It also includes a chance to win a Smith & Hawken BioStack Composter.
