Baseball games are truly a full-body experience. The smell of fresh-cut grass, the sound of sunflower seed shells raining onto metal railings, the occasional crack of bat meets ball, the yell of “Heads!” and your wussy scramble for cover. Starting Friday, March 23, at 5:00 p.m., you can relive all of these feelings at Flamingo Stadium during the South Florida Men’s Amateur Baseball League’s first annual Baseball March Madness.

Continuing today and tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., players from the Miami Nationals, the Kendall Reds, the Miami A’s, and more teams will compete in a double-elimination tournament that will end with someone taking home a humongous trophy. The championship game is scheduled for Monday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a moon bounce, concession stands, a silent auction, and a dunk tank.

March 23-26
