In an era of fake boobs and Photoshop, the notion of pin up photography is titillating. Homegrown sex appeal is making a major comeback, and with it, our fascination with the days of coy glances, high-cut bikinis, and big hair.
And when it comes to the pin up world, Miami-born model, actress, and photographer Bunny Yeager is a living legend. In addition to posing for her own risqué self-portraits, Yeager’s lens caught the likes of Bettie Page and countless other sexy young things as she made an indelible mark on the male-dominated field of photography. And she’s still making waves. The 83-year-old dynamo has her own swimsuit line in the works.
Bunny’s new book, Bunny Yeager’s Darkroom, features more than 250 iconic snapshots from her heyday, and the former pin-up is dropping into Books & Books to sign copies and answer questions about her whirlwind career.
