How do we love Amy Sedaris? Let us count the ways. First, she won our hearts with facial contortion and druggie humor as Jerri Blank in Strangers with Candy. Second, she always steals the show: Her post-interview tumbling session on the Colbert Report has to be seen to be believed; she made an adorable cat-lady love interest on My Name Is Earl; and we’re psyched to see her as Cinderella in Shrek 3. Third, Sedaris has a pet bunny, Dusty; and her book, I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence, includes “Katie’s Smack Snacks for Rabbits” sprinkled among the people-food and tidbits of tongue-in-cheek entertainment advice. Her book takes the piss out of holiday party guides and offers pragmatic, funny advice for the party hearty, and gives us hundreds more reasons to love her. Sedaris will be visiting Miami for three funny and unique events, beginning with an inimitable cooking demonstration this afternoon at 1:00 at Macy’s Aventura Home Store.
