As we near June, almost the exact midpoint between the last Art Basel and the next, Wynwood street art gets a little stagnant. Or so we thought. Check out this Alice in Wonderland mural off North Miami Avenue and NW 32nd Street. We certainly saw our fair share of hipster Alices this past Halloween. Add to that WEAM’s current “Alice in Thunderland” exhibit and we’ve got ourselves a trend. But what’s the allure? Is it Alice’s lolita-esque look? Those magic mushrooms? Or is it the White Rabbit’s refrain that Miamians identify with: “I’m late! For a very important date! No time to say hello, goodbye! I’m late! I’m late! I’m late!” Click on for more photos.
