Today,

The New York Times tallied up the list of U.S. Representatives

Wilson has missed 14 percent of House votes this year. That puts her 6th on the list behind fellow Dem Gabrielle Giffords, who is still recovering from being shot, Republican firebrands Ron Paul and Michelle Bachmann, who are both running for president, a congressman who is recovering from cancer, and some guy who is apparently too lazy to fly to DC from Alaska.
Wilson’s D.C. office says that Wilson was recovering from a minor surgery during most of the month of October. Wilson will make her return to Washington today, though, and is expected to leave from Miami this afternoon.
Elsewhere on the list is is Sandy Adams, who represents an district farther up the East coast. Adams wasn’t cited for being absent, though — she’s one of only 11 representatives who hasn’t missed a single vote this year.
