Literacy is such hard work, so reward yourself for your learned sophistication, you little culture vulture, you, with a pair of Twilight Tastings that are part of the Miami Book Fair, held at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 18 and 19, complementary drinks and munchies celebrating the cuisine of Mexico will be offered, along with the chance to peruse the snaps of “photographer to the stars,” Armando Herrera. Go to Room 6100, 1st floor, on NE 2nd Avenue between 4th and 5th streets.
