If your apetite for laughing at Nazis wasn’t fulfilled by Inglourious Basterds, a new short from local production company Peripheral Films, the same crew behind The Dual, might do the trick.
In Papers, a crew of German SS officers wind up working the counter of Super Sweet Donuts, which we’re guessing doesn’t serve challah or bagels with schmear, but we bet their fastnachts are delicious.
The film is competing in Funny or Die’s Let’s Go Viral contest, and it’s probably the best piece of Nazi-related pastry filmmaking since the strudel-and-cream scene in Basterds.
