Ownership changes to the Eden Roc Hotel have affected 1500 Degrees restaurant.
According to a manager, the hotel, which is now called Eden Roc Destination Hotels & Resorts, will retain its farm to table concept, but will undergo a name change — and chef changes.
See also: Paula DaSilva Tastemaker Executive chef Paula DaSilva has left the restaurant to return to 3030 Ocean in Fort Lauderdale, where she started her upward career trajectory under the tutelage of chef Dean James Max in 2000. Earlier this month, Max announced he was breaking ties with the restaurant after creating the concept 14 years ago.
