If you ever visited Xixón, the Spanish tapas restaurant on Coral Way, chances are you went through a little bit of withdrawal when it closed to move into a newer, bigger space. But the wait is almost over. Xixon will hold an opening party for friends and family May 14 and will reopen to the public a few blocks away from its original location on Saturday, May 15.
We can’t wait for its tortilla española, fried anchovies and chorizo a la sidra (apple cider) to return. Oh, and its gourmet market packed with Spanish cheeses, hams and wines, too.
