In true South Florida fashion, the late, great Hulk Hogan was remembered not with a moment of silence but with a cold beer, a greasy burger, and a heap of curly fries.

On the day news broke of his death at the age of 71, the most legendary restaurant in South Florida, Flanigan's Seafood Bar & Grill, honored the legendary wrestling icon the only way it knew how: by posting a tribute to that unforgettable day when the Hulkster was spotted pounding back a Real American Beer, holding court like only a man with 24-inch pythons and a lifelong tan could.

The late Hogan had recently popped into a South Florida Flanigan's to promote his new beer, Real American Beer, a light lager made with "North American ingredients" and 100 percent patriotic energy. The heartwarming video shows the pro wrestler downing several of his own beers alongside a Flanigan's burger the size of a steel chair and a mountain of curly fries that would've made Andre the Giant tap out. (Yes, I had to look up wrestling trivia for this article.)

And as if the visit to Flanigan’s wasn't iconic enough, Hogan also flexed his way into a Big Daddy's Liquors next door, arm-in-arm with fans, hawking his beer like it was WrestleMania III all over again.
"RIP to the legendary Hulk Hogan," says the video caption, which has already received over 7,000 likes. Thank you for the memories and for bringing your larger-than-life energy to Big Daddy's and Flanigan's."

A fan of both Hogan and Flanny's commented, "Legends recognize legends! R.I.P. Hulk!" Longtime customers and fans of the wrestling legend were devastated. One even wrote, "What a shit week. Might have to go to Flanny to make myself feel better." Others commented, "I met him that day! What an awesome guy. R.I.P, Hulkster."

We may have lost a wrestling titan, but South Florida gained one more story we'll tell forever — about the time Hulk Hogan came to Flanigan's, crushed a burger, and left the place leg-dropping with joy. Rest easy, Hulkster.
