Presidente Bar, the Buenos Aires cocktail institution that's charmed Messi, Coldplay, and the World's 50 Best Bars list, has opened its first U.S. outpost in Wynwood.
Helmed by co-founder and creative director Sebastián García — who Drinks International named one of the top 100 most influential figures in the cocktail world — and 19-time world champion flair bartender Christian Delpech, the Miami debut brings narrative-driven mixology, secret rooms, and Latin American style to NW 28th Street.
Founded in 2017 in a restored heritage mansion in Buenos Aires, Presidente quickly rose through the global bar scene with its lavish interiors, story-rich cocktails, and fan base that includes celebrities and industry icons. The Miami flagship, located at 146 NW 28th St., keeps the vibe intact (just swap the Recoleta terrace for Wynwood murals). "It's an honor to open Presidente's first U.S. location right here in Miami," García says. "The city's energy reminds me of Buenos Aires — bold, inventive, and full of soul. We're bringing that same spirit to Wynwood and look forward to serving cocktails that tell stories, creating spaces that spark emotion, and sharing our deep love for hospitality."
A Bar With a Hidden Libations Salon Inside
Presidente Miami is built like a stage, layering lush greens, sculptural lighting, and Argentine-crafted décor. A sweeping mural by artist Martín Ron acts as a visual guide, unfolding like a storyboard across the walls. But the heart of the drama lies behind a velvet curtain: La Biblioteca, the bar's hidden inner sanctum, is part literary salon, part liquid temple. Think floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, mirrored floors, chandeliers, and a double-height ceiling built for dramatic reveals. Inside, rare spirits line the shelves like first editions. If the main room is the show, La Biblioteca is the secret chapter you tell your friends about.
Behind the bar, Delpech and García lead a team of mixologists trained in Presidente's signature style, described as "blending technique, storytelling, and visual artistry into every pour."

The menu is an immersive journey through Latin America's flavors and botanicals.

Complementing the cocktails is a food menu by executive chef Kevin Acosta, featuring shareable, Latin-inflected dishes like wagyu sliders with crispy onions and "secret sauce," kale and spinach fritters with smoky curry, Patagonian pink risotto, and seared ribeye with truffle focaccia soufflé. A raw bar rounds things out with ceviches, tiraditos, and tartares. Finish it off with desserts like the piña colada pavlova and "flanbrûlée" de dulce de leche.
The venue accommodates 160 seated guests and 90 standing across two distinct spaces: a 100-seat main room and the hidden La Biblioteca, with seating for 60.
