La Pecora Bianca, which translates to "The White Sheep" in Italian, has made its mark in New York by taking Italian food back to its roots as a local and seasonal cuisine. The restaurant’s menu centers around house-made pastas and modern takes on classic Italian fare. All pastas, including signature dishes like rigatoni vodka, gramigna, and tagliatelle bolognese, are made fresh daily in-house.

House-Made Pastas, Mains, and Cocktails That Take You Straight to Italy
At the New York City locations, the menu typically begins with beef and pork meatballs in a pomodoro sauce with parmesan; whipped ricotta drizzled with truffle honey; and local burrata topped with honey-poached apples, hazelnut, and charred radicchio.Pastas, which are all made fresh in-house daily, range from the "gramigna," curly pasta with house-made sausage, broccolini and chili flakes; vodka sauce rigatoni with stracciatella; pomodoro or cacio e pepe spaghetti; beef and pork bolognese tagliatelle; and ravioli with pumpkin, brown butter, and sage. Pastas can be made gluten free, and burrata is available as an optional add-on.

In addition to the food, the restaurant’s drinks are inspired by the Italian tradition of aperitivo hour. The drink menu features La Pecora Rosa organic rosé, an extensive selection of spritzes and negronis, and signature cocktails built around Italian Amari.
