This year, one unassuming Miami food truck has quietly earned national recognition. Known to its regulars for blistered crusts, pillowy dough, and flavors straight out of Naples, it's now getting love on a much bigger stage.
Yelp released its 2025 list of the Top 100 Food Trucks in the U.S., and a Miami favorite made the cut. The list celebrates the most beloved rolling kitchens in the country, from smoky Texas BBQ rigs to bao bun buses in California. But the one putting Miami on the map this year isn't slinging brisket or dumplings. Instead, it's slinging wood-fired, hand-tossed, Neapolitan-style pies made with dough that ferments for days and ingredients that taste like they've been flown in from Italy.

The truck is run by Ciro Esposito, a Naples-born pizza maker who has worked in kitchens across Italy, New York, and Miami.

Today, the couple serves handcrafted pizzas and pasta with a following of loyal fans who line up for signature pies cooked in their Italian-made oven.

Authentic Dishes Fans Can't Get Enough Of
The menu features a rotating selection of Neapolitan classics and regional specialties, everything from Margherita and Diavola Neapolitan pizzas to Roman-style square pies and housemade pasta. Each dish is crafted with the same care and technique Esposito developed over decades behind the peel. Before launching the truck, Esposito honed his skills in bakeries, hotel kitchens, and coal-fired pizzerias. But after struggling to find the right space for a brick-and-mortar shop in Miami, he took a leap and turned to a food truck instead, installing a prestigious Italian oven and taking his pizza to the streets. Since then, Acqua e Farina has built a loyal following thanks to its consistent quality and commitment to tradition.
Now, with national recognition under its belt, Acqua e Farina stands as proof that some of Miami's best bites are still found curbside.
