Support the independent voice of Miami and help keep the future of New Times free.
Less than one year since he left Por Fin for Solea at the W Hotel,
Spanish chef Marc Vidalis heading to Boqueria, a Spanish tapas restaurant with two locations in New York. Vidal will take the place of chef Seamus Mullen, who left the restaurant in July.
Solea's menu will continue to feature classic Spanish cuisine under the hotel's executive chef Michael Gilligan and pastry chef Antonio Bachour, according to Karim Masri of KNR Food Concepts, which manages the restaurant.
Vidal's last day at Solea was September 18. It's a shame he's leaving Miami for we had grown to love his food.
