Set to open Monday, November 18, at the newly opened Gale Miami Hotel & Residences near Miami Worldcenter in downtown, Casa Gianna will join a neighborhood now bustling with favorites like Brasserie Laurel, Sixty Vines, and El Vecino.
Downtown Miami is only heating up, with highly anticipated newcomers on the horizon, including New York’s Serafina, Maple & Ash from Chicago, Canada’s Earl’s Kitchen & Bar, and the much-awaited return of Miami’s rooftop gem Juvia and the Villa One Tequila Gardens by Nick Jonas and John Varvatos.

Casa Gianna will feature a Tuscan-inspired menu filled with signature dishes like a lobster risotto.

Tuscan-Inspired Cuisine From Breakfast Through Dinner
Helmed by executive chef David Caceres, formerly of the Mayfair Hotel & Garden in Coconut Grove, Casa Gianna will transition from a relaxed breakfast café to an upscale dinner restaurant.Chef Caceres’ philosophy centers on simplicity and seasonality, which is a theme that threads through every part of the venue, including Café Gianna, an adjoining espresso bar inspired by Miami’s Cuban ventanitas, where passersby can quickly grab Italian pastries and espresso to go.
“Our goal with Casa Gianna is to create a place where locals feel at home, but can still discover new tastes and textures,” says Caceres. “Supporting our local farming community is of the utmost importance. We work hard to find local farms for the freshest ingredients, a concept that’s central to our menu and to Italian cuisine in general.”
On the dinner menu, you’ll find pasta dishes like pappardelle alla rosa de ricotta with brown butter sage and short rib fagottini made with a parmesan sauce and short rib au jus, as well as artisanal pizzas crafted with daily made dough that are baked in a custom wood-and-stone oven. As for wine, the list emphasizes Italian vineyards, and as for its craft cocktail menu, it's been created to pair seamlessly with the dishes.

Designed by New York’s Laseu Studio, the 9,000-square-foot restaurant features high ceilings, layered custom lighting, and a 360-degree bar that flows into the lush outdoor Terrazza.
