Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
We somehow survived the onslaught of Winter Music Conference events last week, and we look forward not having to party six days straight for a while. Right now we are taking a daily vitamin regiment in order to avoid the dreaded post-WMC flu, which considering the amount of unhealthy substances we put into our bodies last week, it seems almost certain.
But leave it to Poplife/Fridays at Vagabond DJ Mike Deuce to leave us feeling a bit nostalgic for last week. Deuce has released a mix, called Sticks & Stones, via Poplife’s site that sort of sums up the WMC experience perfectly. The mix features tracks by local acts Craze and DiscoTech, along with tracks by Miike Snow, Pase Rock, Kill the Noise, Tiga, and more. Enjoy!
