One of the milder byproducts, however, of the internet’s impetus toward ever-increasing intensity of experience is the constant super-speed mutation of new music.
By now, it’s routine for singles and even full albums to be leaked online as soon as they’re recorded while covers and remixes emerge before the original tracks even get an official release.
