Last Thursday, when Miami-Dade County commissioners voted 10-3 to have Natacha Seijas face a recall vote on the same day as Mayor Carlos Alvarez, the wicked witch of the northwest immediately issued a subtle fatwa of retaliation against her colleagues who ignored her pleas to put her on a different ballot. “And for those that did not hear me, it could come back to you and haunt you one day,” Seijas said with the cold icy glare of Evilene. The only thing missing was her cackle.

Her remarks show how the insidiously grouchy politician, whose turf includes Miami Lakes and Hialeah, loves to abuse her power. Seijas is lucky her comments don’t land her in trouble for using her official position to threaten a public servant, which is considered a third-degree felony in Florida.
