To survive in the media today, you really have to find your niche. That is why Riptide is aggressively covering the phenomenon of a rapper creating some sort of controversy in Miami, only to get in a Twitter fight with noted bloggers. First we had N.O.R.E. who got arrested at a South Beach Fatburger, only to get in some sort of weird twitter fight with Perez Hilton.
Now we have Xzibit, who last week told the legendary tale of how Diddy lured him into a gay club, which ended up actually being Space. Then this weekend he took to his twitter to comment on old internet meme which brings the LOLs at his expense.
It is really lame to explain memes, but here we go: see, multi-talented

Xzibit hosts a car make over show called “Pimp My Ride,” in which
magical car elves have a habit of putting ridiculous things in cars:
“Yo dog, I heard you like barbecuing so we put a grill in your car so
you can bbq when you drive.” An internet macro appeared on the internet proclaiming “Yo Dawg, I heard you like cars so we put a car in your
car so you can drive while you drive.”
Blah blah blah, Xzibit took to his twitter to tell everyone to shut up.
The guy behind Hipster Runoff intervened, and Xzibit told him his
mother should have swallowed him. Then the entire forces of Oh No They
Didn’t, the gossip blog, were unleashed.
What does any of this have to do with Miami? NOTHING! But we figure
there’s a lot of you bored at work so just scroll through the comments
