Wise Latina Women in Miami Love the Idea of a Wise Latina Woman on SCOTUS

You know why so many people tune out to politics between elections? Because a bunch of senators are sitting in a room this week grilling a Supreme Court nominee about some remark she made about being a "wise Latina."

Somehow saying, "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life" is racist. And God forbid a wise Latina "racist" be entrusted with interpreting a document written by a bunch of white guys who considered African-Americans as three-fifths of a person.

Rick Sanchez came down to Miami this week, and decided the best way to cover this is to talk to a bunch of wise Latina women. Video above.
