The Dwyane Wade situation is pretty clear: He wants to stay in Miami but also demands the Heat commit to making another championship run by signing another superstar.
Now, just about everyone in the world, except for Cleveland fans and whoever is in charge of the Heat’s salary budget, wants that to be LeBron James. But Amar’e Stoudemire might not be a bad option either, and it’s possible.
The Phoenix Suns standout and Lake Wales, Florida native is the object of a trade war between the Heat, the Cavs, and the 76ers. ESPN reports the Heat has come out of the All-Star break more determined than ever to land Stoudemire and is searching for just about any way to make it a possibility as the trade deadline looms.
The deal could see Michael Beasley headed to Phoenix. The Heat is also looking for a third team to make a deal possible.
Stoudemire already has a home in Miami, which might make any deal slightly more enticing.
