$7,500

Every time we come across a Miami Subs location we can’t help but think “Oh, wow that place is still in business?” Everything from the painfully 80’s logo to the decor makes it seem decidedly retro, and not in a good way. Miami has expanded on its super pastel deco image, shouldn’t the fast food joint that bares its name do the same?

Turns out the company was sold to new owners last year, and they’re ready to bring the sandwich joint into the new millennium with the rest of us. For starters they’re changing the name to Miami Subs Pizza & Grill, which yes, means they’re offering pizza now. New menu items and a design scheme are on the horizon, and they’re planning to expand to over 500 stores in 5 years. Two new stores will be opened in South Florida soon, and they’re expanding into the New York City market as well as oversees in Turkey and Romania.
