New Times' story about official Marlins barber Hugo Tandron, the former Carol City thug who went from violent criminal charges to his own shop and a stable of millionaire athlete clients, is online and hits stands this week.
In-house videographer extraordinaire Jacob Katel did his thing with footage of Tandron cutting Marlins second baseman Dan Uggla's hair in his makeshift barbershop at Sun Life Stadium, and then visited Headz Up Barbershop to catch the bad-ass barber on his own turf. Music comes courtesy of rapper U.B. the Underboss, who's been a Tandron client for decades.
