On one hand: What the hell, people? You can’t just bring your unleashed dog to the steps of the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building and expect it to patiently wait outside until you’re done with your courthouse business. On the other hand: Awwwwww, cute!
On Friday, a small pooch repeatedly tried to outsmart security to get into the courthouse as he paced around and clawed at the glass doors. Finally, he spotted a chance to sneak through an open door between someone’s legs. His success was short-lived, though, as he was chased back outside. Security then tried to shoo the pup downstairs, but he just found some other stairs to climb back up.
Eventually, the dog’s owner returned to collect the pup and is probably lucky that Animal Services didn’t arrive first.
