Two Passengers Stabbed on Miami-Dade Bus in the Middle of MacArthur

As if public transportation in the city wasn't hellish enough, two passengers are recovering from a bizarre stabbing incident that occurred yesterday around 6 p.m. on a Metrobus. Details are still sketchy, but the incident occurred while the bus was traveling westbound on the MacArthur Causeway.

"We do not know what led up to the incident," Miami Beach Police Detective Vivian Hernandez tells WSVN.

Police aren't even sure yet what the man stabbed the victims with.

Though, after the stabbing the man got off the bus and tried to flee on foot. Obviously, of all the places in Miami-Dade to seek quick refuge, the middle of the MacArthur causeway isn't one of them, and the suspect was quickly captured.

The victims were transported to Jackson Memorial, where they are recovering from their non-life threatening wounds. Neither the identities of the suspect or victims have been released.

Police are talking to other passengers to try and piece together what led up to the bizarre stabbing.
