Tourist Manuel Olguin wound up with three young women, whom he had met on the streets of South Beach at 3 a.m., in his hotel room yesterday morning. Unfortunately for him, this was not the beginning of a Cinemax-worthy fantasy. The trio ended up robbing him.
According to ABC Local 10, Olguin was walking to his room at the Ocean Spray Hotel when he was approached by the trio: Kenyyia Chekeyia McClendon, 26; Barbara Maria Rogers, 22; and Amber Rachell Ball, 20.
The women told Olguin they too were staying at the Ocean Spray, and the four decided to split a cab.
Back at the hotel, the women followed Olguin to his room and forced themselves inside. They then held Olguin down while taking turns rummaging through his possessions. After they left, he realized his wallet was missing.
Olguin followed the women to an area outside a building on 3925 Collins Ave., but the women threatened him with a gun and then pepper-sprayed him.
Police were eventually called and the three women were arrested. They face charges of strong-arm robbery and false imprisonment. McClendon also faces a battery charge.
