And we should all thank the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore and its very special skin tone for our city’s newfound luminescence. So bless you, Snooki, JWoww, the Situation, and the rest. You’ve immeasurably brightened our lives with your unnatural epidermis, relentless club appearances, and recently reported intention to invade the 305 for the shooting of your second season.
And this Sunday we shall bask once again in the superphenomena of Orange when Miami gets its Super Bowl XLIV shot of the Shore. None other than Snooks herself will host Tailin’ It, a watch party at Finnegan’s on the River. Be there when the glowing gets going at noon with some tailgating and a non-stop stream of generic house beats by DJs Miguel G, Ethics, Robin Louis, Flex, and Revo. It’s being billed as “The Ultimate Super Bowl Experience,” which, along the Jersey Shore, means a couple cases of Coors Light and a tiny tangerine guidette in a leopard-print dress.
