Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who earns the biggest paycheck of them all?
In South Florida, quite fittingly, the answer turns out to be the CEOs of an air-conditioning company, a cryptocurrency mining firm, and a homebuilder.
Denise Hicks, a data researcher for the South Florida Business Journal, compiled a list of more than 50 of the highest-paid CEOs of publicly held companies across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, detailing their total compensation, including base salary, stock awards, and other earnings, all as reported in recent filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
