Sarah Palin, the world's foremost political performance artist, has announced a Miami Date for her 2010 Tea Baggin' 'Round the Map American Tour! Yes, the pit bull in lipstick will be unleashed October 6 at the American Airlines Arena at the behest of a local Tea Party group. That's just a few days before President Obama comes to town to raise money for Democrats.

The event is being sponsored by SflaConservatives, a local tea party group, according to Naked Politics. "Governor Palin is in Miami to raise funds to help elect principled grassroots conservatives," reads the group's website. "You are invited to get involved in this, the most critical midterm election in our Republic's history."

Despite keeping a high profile nationally through numerous endorsements, Palin hasn't dipped her tows too far in Florida politics this year. She did endorse Pam Bondi, the eventual winner in the GOP Attorney General primary, but so far has offered no official endorsements to either Rick Scott or Marco Rubio (though she's had nice things to say about Rubio). Palin tends to offer her endorsement to "Mama Grizzlies," Republican woman, who are often conservative mothers not embedded in the political establishment.

So who knows who will appear with Palin, or what she'll have to say about Sunshine State politics.

Tickets (yes, Palin usually gets paid for these things) go on sale Wednesday. This is the first time Palin has been in Miami since she lounged poolside in short shorts during the Republican Governor's Conference.
