Finding the perfect pedicure place can be such a frickin’ mission. Trial and error might reduce your one-stop-toenail-shop search to a top-three list, but what if you’re not in your usual neighborhood? On a recent trip to fabulous New York City, I was swept away by my experience at Dashing Diva, a rapidly spreading chain that aims to be the Starbucks of pedicures. I’d sincerely like to see the franchise spread to Miami – it’s an ideal destination for a bridal shower, a girl’s day out, or a personal day of pampering, just because you deserve it.
Dashing Diva’s whole goal is a universally high standard of customer service at each and every branch. The set-up of the salon is unique – customers ascend a circular platform and sit on a cushy curved couch, while the sinks and a supremely professional attendant sit at their feet. The chain boasts a spectacular array of polishes and products – 150 custom shades and hundreds of pre-decorated nails to choose from. They offer a unique service, Virtual Nails™, which is a breakthrough technique that costs half as much as acrylics. Thursdays and Fridays are Girls Night Out, where ladies sip cosmos while they indulge with a pedicure. Oh, and in addition to fabulous manicures and pedicures, you can also get express services, facials, waxing, and massages.
Doesn’t it sound like a beauty-lover’s dream? Would you love to see a Dashing Diva pop up in your favorite neighborhood strip mall or pedestrian haunt here in Miami?
