Really, this one actually is Obama's fault. The president will land in Miami this afternoon for what might be his last South Florida fundraising trip. And officials are warning commuters to stay the hell away from the Julia Tuttle Causeway and Alton Road in South Beach.
Of course, it's a safe bet that even if you're lucky enough to be able to avoid the Tuttle and Alton, all of that re-routed traffic will clog up every other roadway from South Beach to I-95.Avoid the Julia Tuttle Cswy on FRI 6/3 due to major event from 4PM to 7PM pic.twitter.com/5sowGvdMKm

As for that fundraising, the White House hasn't released any specific details of where the president is headed today. The Miami Herald reports that he'll be at a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser, presumably somewhere in the vicinity of Alton Road in South Beach.
He's later scheduled to appear at a dinner hosted by Coconut Grove attorney Robert Rubenstein.
Console yourself with the thought that your traffic hell is not such a steep price to pay if Obama can channel some of that cash into keeping Donald Trump out of the White House.
