Well, not quite, but his latest conviction is more or less a result of the Civil Lawsuit that found him responsible for the wrongful deaths of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. Simpson was ordered to pay $33,500,000 to the Goldman family. Even though Simpson received a generous $22,000 a month pension from the NFL which can not be used to pay the settlement, much of his life since then has been marred by bizarre money making stunts: The prank dvd, the rap song, the “confession” book, The “ask me anything” website, the sex tape, and now the armed robbery.

Simpson was found guilty on all 12 charges. Sentencing will take place on December 5th, and Simpson faces anywhere from 15 years to life.

So while this isn’t any sort of pay back verdict – the case seemed pretty tight – people who always believed OJ did it may also have a reason to believe in karma.
