New York Mets utility infielder Jose Iglesias is having a year. The journeyman big leaguer defected from Cuba in 2008 when he was 18 and went on to play for seven different MLB teams before signing a minor league deal with the Mets during the offseason. Called up on May 31 when New York was languishing at 23-33, the 34-year-old veteran came off the bench to help his new team go 66-40 the rest of the way to secure a Wild Card berth on the last day of the 2024 season. Now he and the Mets are facing off against the Los Angeles Dodgers for a ticket to the World Series.

He's also got a side hustle as Candelita, a pop artist whose single "OMG" debuted at number 1 on Billboard's Latin Digital Song Sales chart in July.

Oh, and he's selling his five-bedroom, five-bathroom home in the Keystone Islands neighborhood of North Miami.

Priced at $7.6 million for serious buyers, 2381 Bayview Ln. is a 3,891-square-foot home situated on 75 feet of prime waterfront, with direct access to Biscayne Bay. Inside: sleek marble floors, soaring ceilings, and an open-plan layout — not to mention a massive Brazilian oak front door that listing agent Susy Dunand calls "very sexy."

Floor-to-ceiling sliders in the great room offer panoramic views of an infinity pool and the canal beyond. Outside: a 1,200-square-foot rooftop terrace, a private dock, and a pool with a waterfall hot tub accented in Italian glass. Other amenities include a mosquito-misting system, a two-car garage, and water views from every bedroom.

Located in a 24-hour guard-gated community, the house is minutes away from Aventura, Bal Harbour Shops, and Miami Beach.

Property records show Iglesias bought the place brand-new from the developer for $3 million in 2018.
