Concourse F at Miami International Airport was evacuated  around 3 p.m. due to a suspicious package found at a security checkpoint in the terminal that handles international flights. The bomb squad was called in to evaluate the package. Updated: The terminal has been reopened.

Update 4 p.m.: The AP reports only an area around a security checkpoint at Concourse F was evacuated after the suspicious package was found. All passengers who had already cleared security were allowed to stay inside.

Local 10, meanwhile, reports the bomb scare was prompted after suspicious language was found written on a suitcase.

Passengers who were evacuated have been allowed to return to the concourse, according to NBCMiami's Twitter feed. Meanwhile, the Miami Herald has reported nothing.

No flights seem to have been canceled or delayed.
